ASES Program
LONGFELLOW'S ASES PROGRAM
The primary purpose of the After-School Enrichment Program is to enhance academic achievement. In addition, the program may offer recreational and other skill-building and enrichment activities while addressing child care needs of eligible families and homework assistance. The program supports the classroom teacher by promoting student achievement in alignment with the state standards in the areas of English-Language Arts and Mathematics. The program promotes health behaviors and physical, mental and social growth.
CURRENTLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS
The After School program is currently operating and accepting applications. Please fill out an application in the main office to have your child/children placed on the wait list.
NEW ASES MOBILE PHONE APP
Download the Compton ASES Program App on your smartphone or tablet and enter a chance to win a $25 Starbucks Gift Card. The ASES App will be needed to apply to the ASES Program for the 2018/2019 school year.
HOURS OF OPERATION
The program begins on the first day of school and ends on the last day of school. Students attend the after school program from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily, except on 2nd & 4th Wednesdays when the program will run from 1:15 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
ASES Daily Dismissal Time: 5:50pm - 6:00pm
