Our Vision at Longfellow is that….

- All students will receive a core curriculum that will challenge and encourage individual interests, preparing them to successfully function in society.

- All students will receive educational experiences and services enabling them to meet proficiency or better academic standards.

- All students are unique, with special talents and abilities. The educational process will assist in developing positive
self worth, accomplishments, and foster an appreciation for the uniqueness and ambitions of others.

- Parents, community and educators will work together to provide a complete education for children.

- All school stakeholders will continuously put the education of children first.

Mission Statement

Our mission at Longfellow Elementary is to educate each and every student. Our desire is to meet the academic, as well as the social needs, of every child. By upholding high expectations, we provide students with a rigorous, standards-based education that will prepare them to be productive citizens in a rapidly increasing multicultural and technological society.  We are committed to the task of working together as a staff and working with the community to provide a safe, learning environment that increase student achievement and model academic excellence.
