We Believe In Our Scholars
More than 80 CUSD scholars from Emerson, Kelly, King, McNair, Tibby, Washington, and Whaley took part in the “USC Student for a Day” program, thanks to CUSD’s Black Student Achievement Department and University of Southern California (USC).
Halloween was in full swing across Compton Unified School District, with schools like Mayo, McNair, Roosevelt, and Washington Elementary, among many others, hosting exciting Halloween parades.
The California state test scores are in and Compton Unified School District is ranked first in performance among unified school districts with similar demographic and socio-economic profiles.
We are excited to announce that enrollment is still available for our Transitional Kindergarten (TK) for this current school year for 4-year-old children. TK is designed to give 4-year-old children (turning 5 by June 2, 2025), an excellent start to their educational journey by providing them with a year of growth and leaning in a developmentally appropriate educational environment.
45 scholars from McKinley Elementary School, McNair Elementary School, and Laurel Street Elementary School recently embarked on an unforgettable educational experience organized by the CUSD Black Student Achievement Department.
